Lately there have been numerous articles on the therapeutic benefits of coloring. Ask any artist why they paint, draw, play music, or craft. I was coloring two days ago. My 2 year old nephew who lives with us loves to color. Lol but I would color even if he wasn't here.

I did some coloring around the 4th of July, when my nephew and niece were in town. Usually find myself coloring every few weeks, though rarely in a coloring book anymore. Love playing with the colors. Your cover images look really nice.

Thanks Kristel. The cover image is one of the designs in the book. I love that you color every few weeks.

I am with you on the colored pencil thing Amy. Have you ever tried Prismacolor pencils? DON'T! You'll never buy the Crayola pencils again. Ha! I used my 40% coupon at Hobby Lobby to buy them and now I have a hard time using anything else!

I've colored within the last week. Recently, I've discovered mandelas. It is nice to color, be in the moment (without the pressure of planning art), and calling on my inner child to just pick a color that looks appealing at the time.

I love mandalas! To me creating these designs for my books is calming and stress relieving as well. However, sometimes I just have to stop and color one of them :-)

Hi Jodi. I might have know YOU would love to color. You probably need to turn your sister on to it. My guess is she could use a bit of a stress reliever these days!!
